At The Long Mountain Centre : Pony trekking for the complete beginner novice or experienced rider trail rides tailored to suit individual needs pleasure rides pony days picnic rides We aim to make your riding experience with us as safe as possible. Please read the yard safety rules We are licensed with the Shropshire Council, who annually check our horses and ponies with a full veterinary inspection, . We regularly do risk assessment analysing, ways to improve our facilities When you arrive for your trek you are requested to fill in a client information form in the case of an emergency of any kind so that we can assist you in the best possible way. We are trained in basic First Aid should you need our help. Safety hats, of the up-to-date Standard, are available and must be worn We recommend that you wear tight fitting, long trousers shorts are not allowed and bring along a coat just in case the weather does change . Gloves with grips can be a great help we can provide coats and gloves if you forget.
We are not a riding school so don't offer any form of lessons however if you’ve tried a trek and fancy taking riding up as a hobby we can arrange for you to try a lesson at www.penycoedholidays.co.uk riding stables with a qualified instructor Penycoed also offer a wide range equine courses, Log cabin holidays ,Healing centre including Reiki & Didgeridoo healing |
