Long mountain centre pony trekking is a fully licensed family run centre. We welcome visitors of all ages and abilities. All treks are accompanied by friendly experienced guides who know the surrounding mountains and bridleways. All the horses are carefully chosen for their kind nature and sensible temperament

When you arrive for your trek you are requested to fill in a client information form in the case of an emergency of any kind so that we can assist you in the best possible way. We are trained in basic First Aid should you need our help.
Riding hats of the up-to-date Standard, are available for hire and must be worn We recommend that you wear tight fitting, long trousers shorts are not allowed boots that cover your ankles wellies are fine, don't forget to bring along a coat just in case the weather does change. Gloves with grips can be a great help we can provide coats and gloves if you forget.

Stable Days As our Stable Days are extremely popular. We will be offering these days/mornings Mon Tues during school holidays. We will cater for up to 6 children during the day and it will be from 10:30am - 3:00pm. £52 (,children must be 5+to attend the stable days/mornings ) Mornings 10;30 12;30 £37 Children will be grouped into riding ability. They will have a riding session for; grooming and tacking up; mucking out, hay net filling, tack cleaning; and a fun session
What to bring and wear:
Sensible footwear, preferably sturdy boot with small heel NO FLIP FLOPS OR CROCS!!!! Long trousers only. NO SHORTS OR SKIRTS Clothing appropriate for the ever changing weather. Lightweight waterproof coat is recommended. No clothing can be tied around waist. Riding hats and some boots can be borrowed from the centre, if you have your own hat it will have to be checked for correct standard prior to use. Bags or camera bags are not allowed to be taken on the horses, bags can be stored at the centre if necessary. Cash or Card payment facilities available. Payment in full required on booking, non refundable within 2 weeks. No refunds due to inclement weather (unless we cancel the ride). Management have the right to refuse or remove any rider at any time.
ALL OUR TIMES ARE APPROX and times can vary as to how many persons on the ride , pace of the ride ect.
